Two in a box

The pack is the product, and the first two bullets are unusually clear about who it is for.

Fitting out several racks in parallel. A standardised installation across several racks or sites. Equipment in the same place in each cabinet.

That is a description of somebody maintaining more than one rack, and for them a matched pair is worth more than two separate orders — same tray, same height, same depth, same day.

For a single cabinet in a cupboard it is simply two shelves, one of which goes in a drawer. The shelves earlier on this shelf are cheaper individually and one of them holds five times as much.

Cantilever, named

The fourth bullet says cantilever front mounting in so many words, and only one other listing on this shelf names its support arrangement at all.

That matters because the term carries the whole load story. A cantilever tray is bolted to the front rails and nothing else, so its capacity is set by how well two flanges resist being levered downwards. Twenty kilograms is a good figure for that arrangement — better than three of the four other front-fixed trays here — and it is an order of magnitude below what the four-post shelf on this shelf states.

Naming it also tells a buyer what the cabinet needs, which is nothing at the back. That is a real advantage in the shallow cabinets, where a rear rail may not exist.
