Twenty-five kilograms is a good figure for the money — better than the two cheaper fixed shelves in this hub, which state 15 kg and 16 kg. So the load-bearing case is made.

Everything else about the object is described in adjectives. Robust, solid, elegant, universal, practical. There is no width, no depth, no surface dimension, no thickness, and no weight.

A shelf is a part defined entirely by fitting into a measured space, and this is the listing on this shelf with the least measurement on it.

The rear fixing

The title says the fixing is at the rear, and nothing else on the page mentions it again.

That is unusual enough to be worth stopping on. The two arrangements used everywhere else in this hub are the cantilever, bolted to the front rails and carrying its load on the overhang, and the four-post, bolted front and rear and carrying much more. A rear fixing is neither.
