The braid, which is the reason this cord exists

Every other made-up cord on this shelf arrives in a moulded jacket; this one arrives in cotton. The listing puts it in the title and in the first bullet and then never returns to it, which is honest in its way: no electrical claim is hung on the sleeve, and none should be. What a braid changes is what the cord looks and feels like where it is visible, and that is a real reason to choose one when the run crosses a desk rather than a cabinet.

S/FTP PIMF, and the layers named

The third bullet is the one that does the technical work, and it is unusually plain. Pairs twisted together, a screen around each pair, one screen around all of them, copper inner conductors. That is the same construction the title compresses into S/FTP PIMF, written out.

Two of the seven listings here say only STP, which names a screen without saying where it sits. Reading the layers matters because a screen is a chain: it is worth its cost when the plugs, the modules and the panel are screened as well and the chain reaches earth, and it is worth nothing when it stops at the first unscreened socket.

CSL in the title, Primewire in every bullet

The title sells CSL. The first bullet sells Primewire, and so does every bullet after it. Both belong to the same seller and the page never mentions the pairing, which is the kind of small thing that turns into a problem when a cord fails in three years and the search that would find its replacement is run against whichever name happens to be printed on the plastic. Nothing about the cable changes; what changes is how easily you find it again.
