SF/FTP, and three layers counted

The shielding is the specification here, and it is the one the maker leads with. SF/FTP reads from the outside in: a braid and a foil around the bundle, then a foil around each pair. Three layers, which is one more than any other cord on this shelf claims, and the code is printed rather than compressed into three capital letters the way two of the others do.

Screening earns its cost in a specific circumstance — a run alongside mains cable, through a plant space, past motors — and it earns nothing at all where the screen has nowhere to go. Everything the cord meets has to be screened too, and the chain has to reach earth. That is a property of the installation, not of the cable, and no cable listing anywhere can answer it for you.
