The class, the voltage and the total
Three separate facts, and this page prints all three. The class decides what one socket may deliver. The voltage decides whether a device built for a passive injector will work at all, and the answer here is stated as no. The total of 120 W is what all eight powered sockets share, so it is the sum of the connected devices that has to fit under it, never the per-socket ceiling multiplied out.

The questions that come up before an order
Why does the listing insist on 48 V?
Because passive injectors sold at 12 V and 24 V look identical at the socket and are not the same thing. The standards this switch names are defined at 48 V, and the second bullet says the lower voltages are not supported. A camera bought as a passive PoE device will not run from this unit, and that is worth knowing before both arrive.
What is an SFP cage for on a switch this size?
It takes a pluggable module, usually optical, which lets the switch reach further than copper allows or join a fibre run that already exists. The module is bought separately and has to match the fibre at the other end. This listing gives the cages a rate of 1G and does not name a module type, so that pairing is a question for the seller.
