STRONG

STRONG prints the switching capacity and the case material

The STRONG group here

An eight-socket gigabit switch, a powerline pair and a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 repeater.

Two blanks filled in

The switch publishes a switching capacity of 16 Gbit/s and states that its case is plastic. Neither figure changes what the unit does, and both are what make the page comparable with the one beside it instead of merely trusted.

Where the numbers pull apart

The powerline pair states 600 Mbit/s over the mains and 100 Mbit/s at its Ethernet sockets, on the same page: the socket is the ceiling, and this listing does not hide it. The repeater writes AX3000 as though the class name were a figure in megabits, publishes 2976 beneath it, offers an access point mode and then names no Ethernet socket to use that mode with.

Every STRONG unit reviewed here

Every price named in a summary was read on the date that review carries. What a shop asks today is shown beside the product, and it moves.
