VEVOR 19-inch 15U cabinet, two load ratings published: 91 kg (200.6 lb) hung, 227 kg (500.4 lb) standing

The only cabinet on this shelf that publishes a different load rating for each way of mounting it — 200 lb hung on a wall, 500 lb standing on a floor — which is the honest form of a figure every other listing gives once.

Rack units
Fifteen — stated in the title. It is the second-tallest cabinet on this shelf, seven units below the VEVOR 22U
Mounting width
19-inch — stated in the title and implied by the adjustable square-hole mounting rails of the fifth bullet
Usable internal depth
A maximum depth of 14.8 inches, which is 376 mm (14.8 in) — stated in the first bullet without being qualified as internal or external. The product record gives the cabinet as 450 mm (17.7 in) deep, so the two readings differ and the page does not resolve them
Wall mounting or floor mounting
Either, and the two cases are priced differently in load terms — the third bullet gives a wall-mount capacity and a free-standing capacity as separate figures, which no other listing on this shelf does
Rail arrangement
Fully adjustable square-hole mounting rails — stated in the fifth bullet. The number of rails and whether the rear is supported is not published on the listing
Door type
Locking glass with side panels — stated in the title and in the fourth bullet, which gives offices and public spaces as the setting
Ventilation
Ventilation vents and top-to-bottom cooling holes, described as strategically placed — stated in the second bullet. No dimension, no fan aperture and no fan is named, behind a glass door that moves no air
Stated load rating
Two figures for two mountings — 200 lb wall-mounted, which is 91 kg (200.6 lb), and 500 lb free-standing, which is 227 kg (500.4 lb), both stated in the third bullet. It is the only listing on this shelf that separates the two cases, and the 227 kg (500.4 lb) is the highest load figure published anywhere here
Cable entries
Wiring holes in the top, bottom and rear panels — stated in the fifth bullet, which names three positions. Their number and whether they carry brush strips is not published on the listing
Lock type
Not published on the listing — the glass door is described as locking and no lock pattern, key type or barrel is named

The third bullet does something no other listing on this shelf does: “With a wall-mount load capacity of 200 lbs and a free-standing load capacity of 500 lbs, it can handle multiple devices with ease.”

Two numbers, two ways of mounting, and a factor of two and a half between them. Every other cabinet here that publishes a load gives one figure — 50 kg (110.2 lb) on the Tecmojo cabinets, 136 kg (299.8 lb) on the VEVOR 22U, 150 lb on the RackPath frame — and none of them says which case it describes. On a cabinet designed to hang on a wall that is the difference between a specification and a guess, because the limit is rarely the steel: it is the wall, the fixings and what is behind the plasterboard.

Ninety-one kilograms hung and two hundred and twenty-seven standing. The second of those is the highest load figure anywhere on this shelf, and it is also the one that applies least often, since the cabinet is sold as a wall mount. Both are worth having and the page gives both.

The depth is given as a maximum of 14.8 inches, which is 376 mm (14.8 in), in the first bullet. That is an unusual way to put it — a maximum depth reads as a statement about what will go inside rather than about the outside of the box, and the product record gives the cabinet as 450 mm (17.7 in) deep. The page never says which of the two the 14.8 inches is, so it sits between the four Tecmojo cabinets here, which publish a mounting depth plainly, and the VEVOR 22U, which publishes nothing at all.

The third bullet gives a solid welded frame, so this arrives built rather than flat. At 24 kg (52.9 lb) empty that matters for the route in. The fourth gives a locking glass door with side panels; the second gives ventilation vents and top-to-bottom cooling holes, with no dimension and no fan aperture and no fan. The fifth gives fully adjustable square-hole mounting rails and wiring holes in the top, bottom and rear panels — three positions named, which is more than most pages here manage, though none of them is counted.

At $159.90 on October 26, 2026 for fifteen units, it was the cheapest enclosed cabinet on this shelf per rack unit, at $10.66 each, against $18.32 for the six-unit Tecmojo and $11.81 for the VEVOR 22U; only the open RackPath frame cost less, at $7.13 a unit.

The questions that come up before an order

Why are there two load ratings?

Because the two mountings are not the same problem. The third bullet gives 200 lb hung on a wall and 500 lb standing on a floor. Hung, the limit is the wall and the fixings; standing, it is the frame. It is the only listing on this shelf that separates them.

Is the 14.8 inches the inside or the outside?

The page does not say. The first bullet calls it a maximum depth, which reads as a statement about what fits, while the product record gives the cabinet as 450 mm (17.7 in) deep. Both figures are attached to this product.

Does it arrive assembled?

The third bullet describes a solid welded frame, so it arrives built. At 24 kg (52.9 lb) empty that is worth knowing before it has to go up stairs.
